About us

The great Walt Disney said, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” Pursuing – and reaching — our dreams is what this online community is all about. First and foremost, we are a community that aims to create smart, trustworthy, important content of the highest quality that informs and motivates entrepreneurs to grow their business.

As your host and fellow scrappy entrepreneur, I am here to help you do that, like a tour guide leading you to your favorite destination.

It is a continual question for me, “Are entrepreneurs born or made?” For me, I come from a family of aspiring and motivating entrepreneurs. From a young age, I was taught the power of hard work and was urged to go after any dream that I wanted. So, at the tender age of five, I started my first business. I sold leaves door to door in my small farm community in Pennsylvania. That’s right, leaves! Talk about out-of-the-Box-Elder thinking!

My second business was also unique, but a bit more lucrative, and I started it after moving to the glittering lights of Las Vegas. Known as Newsletters for Free, it was created for Homeowners Associations (HOAs). These informative newsletters were distributed to HOA members and I kept the revenues from ad sales. Definitely a win-win!

I then chose to pursue higher education. While studying, I fell in love with the art of storytelling on a class trip to Cuba with news reporters from around the world. After college, I worked as a news reporter and then made a transition into public relations and marketing, helping tell the stories of corporate CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

At age 25, I started MassMedia, an integrated communications firm in a small rented cubicle. As a scrappy entrepreneur, I built MassMedia from the ground up, serving small start-ups to large national Fortune 500 companies. It grew into an amazingly successful enterprise with more than 40 employees and $10 million in annual earnings.

No more selling leaves for me! Success, for me, was all about maintaining the right attitude and determination, plus having the grit to never give up and achieve the results I wanted. As we once heard from NASA, “Failure was not an option.”

I am anxious and passionate to now work to give back and serve others who want to be in the driver’s seat of their own destiny through a business of their own. I have learned a lot in 25 years, and I am building this community to help you realize your dreams while giving you a consistent, reliable and positive source of support and motivation.

Thanking you for joining us!
